The GAMEROX advantage.

GAMEROX is beneficial to the user because it promotes body movement during gaming. Movement improves circulation and aids muscle and skeletal development. GAMEROX also assists in the development of coordination, balance and spatial awareness.

The seat design encourages good posture when the feet are planted apart out in front. This provides a dynamic upright sitting position similar to a horse riding posture, which is good for core stability, muscle training and posture development. Gamers benefit by using their own muscles to support themselves, rather than relying on a lumbar support.

Why GAMEROX?

Children and indeed adults spend long periods involved in gaming using various electronic consoles.  Average life expectancy is reducing because of poor lifestyle. Sedentary lifestyles and poor diet are leading to growing obesity problems amongst children in many developed economies.  In addition, adopting poor posture and lack of exercise in pre teen children can lead to the development of back problems early in life.

GAMEROX has been developed to alleviate at least some of these problems. It is an ergonomic seat designed specifically for video gaming.

How does GAMEROX work?

GAMEROX allows full 3D controlled body movement based on the primary 'XYZ' axis rotation and the combined 3D spatial positions achieved by overlapping each axis of movement.

One important feature is that travel in each axis is limited, thereby providing a safe ergonomic range of body movement.

In certain axes the movement is further dynamically dampened providing increased resistance towards the end of the movement range. The effect of this feature is to decelerate the speed of body movement as the user reaches the limits of what is an acceptable ergonomic movement range. In addition, the deceleration caused by increased resistance also reduces potential strain and impact on the body when reaching the range limits.
